Weather Conditions and Travel

Are you rushing around to get packed because you need to head to the airport for a flight out?
It is pouring down rain outside and the news said traffic was a mess.  You dont want to miss your flight so what steps should you take to ensure a stress free trip to the airport?

First, I would like to reccomend you check with the airlines for any flight delays or cancellations.  We have posted a link to Flight Tracking here in our links.  This has pretty accurate information on delays and cancellations.  If you are unsure and prefer to call the airlines, make sure you have your flight number and departure time handy.  The airline staff are very up to date on cancellations and delays as well.

If the local news says traffic delays, add 30 minutes to your standard drive time to the airport.

It is also helpful to call the Parking Lot you will be parking at when you are about 10 minutes away and let them know you were held up in traffic and you will be arriving shortly.  Confirm there will be a shuttle available when you arrive to expedite your trip into the terminals.

Our staff are available to help in any way we can to get you to the airport on time, in a pleasant and positive manner.

Please keep in mind that if you are stressed when you arrive, take a deep breath, have your paperwork ready and politely communicate that you were held up in traffic and are now somewhat rushed.  The shuttle drive into the airport is only a 3 to 4 minute trip including stoplights.
